Blue berry season is going down soon. It's about two thirds of the way done, now. It always starts in late April, or early May. The blue berries are usualy realy big, until this time of year, when they start to wind down.
Every sunday morning we have blue berry pancakes, and sausage or bacon. Pepper and Shade always rub their heads against the bushes, and purr softly. I helped kill a bird once. :( But it was in the patch pecking at our blue berries. Dead animals remind me of this time my cat's got a baby bunny...
Kelli (my older sister) heard something outside our back door, so she went to look, and there was this baby bunny lying there, but it was still alive. Well, I wanted to help it, so I carried it to my play house, were the cat's couldn't get it. I put some carrots by it, and in the morning I went to check on it. I stuck my finger under it and tried lifting it. It was completely stiff. It was dead. I was so horrified, and I cried for two hours straight, holding it in my hands. Than I burried it. Than I cried some more. Than I cried some MORE. Than I stopped crying, and went in the house.
Well, that's all the news for now!
